Guidance Through Heartbreaking Times with Pets
One-to-One Pet Loss Support
These are private, supportive sessions tailored to your unique needs. You feel numb. You are overwhelmed. Or, you struggle to put your grief into words. Nevertheless, this is a space where you are met with warmth and understanding. You can talk, think, cry, or simply be heard — whatever you need in that moment.
Sessions are held online via secure video or phone, offering you comfort wherever you are.
Post-Loss Guilt, Regret & Grief
After a loss, it’s common to question everything. You replay your decisions, feel guilt or regret, or wonder if you have done more. These feelings are natural — and they don’t make your love any less.
In these sessions, we gently explore these emotions. We find ways to honor both your grief and the love that still lives in your heart.
Local In-Person Support (Colliers Wood & South West London)
If you’re based in or around Colliers Wood, I can sometimes offer in-person support. This can make difficult moments a little easier.
This includes:
- Attending vet visits or farewell appointments
- Gentle presence during pet funerals or memorials
- Support in choosing a cremation service or aftercare provider
- Guidance during the grief of Re-homing or a missing pet
Please reach out to check availability and discuss what would help most.
Pre-Loss Support (Anticipatory Grief)
Preparing to say goodbye can stir up waves of emotion — fear, guilt, sadness, even relief. These sessions offer space to explore those feelings and gently plan for what lies ahead.
We can talk through both emotional and practical concerns, including:
- Knowing when it’s time
- What to expect at the vet
- Holding your pet during euthanasia
- Options for at-home farewells
- Choosing aftercare that feels right to you
You don’t have to carry these questions alone.
Memory & Remembrance Guidance
Keeping your pet’s memory alive can be a healing part of the grief process. Together, we can explore ways to honor and remember them in a way that feels right to you:
- Creating meaningful rituals or anniversaries
- Writing letters or stories
- Crafting memory books or keepsake boxes
The Animals We Support:
At Rainbow Moments, we understand that every pet leaves a unique imprint on your heart. This happens no matter their size, species, or role in your life.
We offer support to anyone grieving the loss of:
- Dogs
- Cats
- Rabbits
- Birds
- Small pets (guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, etc.)
- Horses & farm animals
Your relationship with your animal matters deeply. This space is here for you, whatever form that bond took.
A Final Thought
